The company Bawaria operates the website https://bawaria-beskydy.cz If you visit this website, we automatically store selected information in the server logs.
We store cookie files – as defined by Google, these are „short text files that a visited website sends to the browser. They allow the site to record information about your visit, for example your preferred language and other settings. Your next visit to the site can then be easier and more productive. Cookies are important. Without them, browsing the web would be much more complicated.“
Types of cookies
Session cookies
- help the pages display correctly during your visit and are deleted automatically the moment you leave the site
Persistent cookies
- are stored in your device and may contain an anonymous identifier of your browser. On their own they do not identify you as a specific person; they only identify access to the site and the behaviour of the user accessing it from a particular device. They are used mainly for site usage statistics. Persistent cookies may also be used chiefly for measurement and advertising.
Advertising cookies
- make it possible to display targeted advertising on websites that are part of this advertising system. Targeted advertising is displayed on the basis of an anonymous user’s behaviour on websites, thanks to the identification of their browser. If, for example, you last searched for transit transport, targeted advertising will usually show you that service on your next visit.
Measurement cookies
- can recognise a repeat visit to the website from the same browser on the same device and track activity while browsing the site.
Some places on our websites may also collect information by means of so-called pixel tags. These may be shared with third parties who carry out marketing activities for us. However, the data collected using these pixel tags does not make it possible to identify a specific user, even though a link to your personal data exists.
From the GDPR point of view we process cookies exclusively for remarketing activities (re-engaging users who have visited our website – Google AdWords, Seznam Sklik and Facebook Pixel on the site).
You can delete cookies or refuse their use in advance in the relevant settings of your browser. If you do so, you may have to set some options manually every time you visit the site, and some services and functions may not work.
